Murphy and Christine Crowson
We're having a great time with Abe's sister and family in Estonia. We worshipped with several new Christians this past Sunday and had a prayer/bible study group with them again Tuesday night. They asked me to talk about Togo and the Lord's work among the Watchi. It was exciting to see the beginning of a new church here in Estonia with young, baby Christians who are excited about their faith and eager to grow in their faith.

Christine and I are so thankful to the Lord for so many opportunities to witness first hand how He is moving in this world, in so many different countries and cultures, to bring people to Himself. Our God is alive and working!

We are having a fun time in the cold and snow. We went from extreme heat in Togo to extreme cold in Estonia! But our family is healthy and keeping warm. We've had lots of fun this week sledding, skating, and playing in the snow. If you'd like to see some pictures, you can view several slide shows of our fun in Estonia on our family web site http://audienceofone.cc.

Also, be sure to visit our redeveloped team web site @ http://www.watchiharvest.com.

We leave Sunday to complete our trip to the States, arriving in Dallas on Monday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Please ask the Lord to continue to bless our family with good health and safety as we travel.

Marty and Louise Koonce
The Koonces have had a bit of a struggle this week as Tanner came down will malaria and Louise and Trevor had stomach troubles. Sickness here always throws us off a bit. Everyone is on the mend, though, and now we are looking forward to a healthier week. Louise is madly preparing for the trip to Brazil, which she leaves for on next Thursday. She is trying to cook ahead for Marty and the boys as well as prepare for lessons in Brazil. As for the boys, the older two have been basketball crazy this week and the younger two are just glad to be feeling better.

As for Marty, he continues to plug on with the Train and Multiply groups. He confronted the leaders in Topeglo on Sunday and feels good about their understanding and is hopeful that things will turn around. Today he will dig a little deeper with Vogan to try and begin reconciling the old and new groups. In Ahepe, he continues to be surprised by their responses to the training and the initiative that they are showing. In Tabligbo, there are no quick changes but they seem to be picking up momentum to move to some kind of action.

Afakomi, Hompou, Glita Kope, and Topeglo continue to need prayers for stability. Thank you for your love and your prayers.

Anthony and Maureen Parker

This month we expect our electricity bill to be down and the water bill to go up. This is due both to the electrical outagaes and the numerous cold showers that we've been taking to get some relief from the heat. The outside temperatures have been 96 in the shade, and well over 100 in the kitchen.

Anthony preached at Nyitaveglovi on Sunday and had a good training session with the Tabligbo leaders Tuesday. He has received a lot of corrections from the Train & Multiply proofreaders, and is busy getting new training books ready.

Anthony and Maureen are looking forward to a couple of days away this weekend. Anthony is meeting an old friend from college in Accra on Monday to discuss plans for training Africans as missionaries, and so we decided to have a long-postponed getaway. We're thankful for teammates who are willing to look after the boys, and the boys are looking forward to sleeping over with their friends.

Josh and Kyleen Bontrager
The hot season is here. We are really looking forward to having a house that has air conditioning when we go back to America! Several times in the past week, the electricity has gone off in the middle of the night. It is really frustrating, but we keep telling ourselves that we are fully experiencing the life of a missionary. Josh has been having language lessons with Foligan on a consistent basis, which is very unusual. For several months, Josh was not improving because of lack of certain words in normal conversation, but he has improved in his language a lot. He has learned questions which has helped him talk more than the normal greetings.

Kyleen has been sick off and on this past week. We recently found out that her latest stomach troubles were due to an amoeba. Thankfully, there is medicine that is able to take care of it quickly. The boys have been great in school. Tanner is really excelling in reading and Jeremy is finishing his last week of student of the month.

We praise God for opening up some doors for us in our job search. Please remember to pray for the future teacher(s) that the MK School will need for next year.

Things have been going good. We made our first trip back to Lome this Monday since the political situation. It was nice to go grocery shopping and eat out for lunch. We enjoyed spending the day with the Bontragers.

School is continuing to run smoothly. The heat has encouraged the older students to finish up sooner. We have been able to leave around 1:30 p.m. each day. Jeremy and I have enjoyed getting in the pool, along with the Holland's and Bontrager's.

We are both feeling healthy and energetic, which is great since there have been moments of one of us not feeling well.

Jeff and Brenda Holland
We praise God that we are all well and there are no major items of news for our work or family. As they say, "No news is good news." We have less than two months until our furlough. In the meantime, Brenda continues training literacy teachers, Jeff continues his leadership training, Josiah goes to school, Ellianna rules the roost, and the monkey and dog are in time-out because they pester each other.

In the work, please pray for some of the churches Jeff works with. For three seasons, their crops have not produced. Some are losing land to dept. Some are unable to continue sending their children to school. And some are finding it very difficult to feed their families. One group of elders recently approached Jeff asking for the church to take a $300 loan to buy corn for those having trouble feeding their families. There are other churches similarly affected by this famine who share similar needs Jeff doesn't believe a loan is the best option. However, if you or someone you know would like to assist with this need, please email Jeff (you can click on the envelope next to our name on the line above, or you may contact us through our website, http://www.watchiharvest.com/html/contact_us.htm , and click on "Watchi Team." Also pray for the newly planted church in the city of Afangnan-Gbleta. This congregation is in a strategic place and could help serve as a regional hub for future evangelism.
